That gesture by Jack is, and always will be considered one of the finest acts of sportsmanship in sports history. The Concession Golf Club
The Concession Course, named “Best New Private Course of 2006” by Golf Digest magazine, is a Jack Nicklaus and Tony Jacklin design. The 506 acre course is confined within the most pristine natural Florida landscape setting possible. All the concession land was previously undeveloped and the large oaks and pines along the fairways have remained untouched. Only a few homes are visible from the course making The Concession links an escape to serenity that always delivers relaxed playing conditions.
The Concession course is one of the rare courses that has the highest possible slope rating from the championship tees, bunkers filled with ball-grabbing Northern Ohio sand, 7,450 yards in length, and plenty of water and mature trees to make play interesting and a challenge for even the most seasoned golf enthusiast.
Complimenting this championship course is a champion’s practice area. From the the use of Titleist Pro V1 balls to the two expansive driving ranges the facility also features a 10,000 square foot- flat and rolling putting green as well as a 14,000 square foot chipping green with the same features and a few extras like practice bunkers. The Concession Membership Options
The Concession Golf Club offers six memberships to best accommodate your needs.
Full Membership
The Full Membership is available to residents or property owners within The Concession Residences.
Invitational Membership
The Invitational Membership is perfect for individuals who do not reside or own property within The Concession Residences.
Young Professional Membership
This plan is available to individuals less than 44 years of age.
National Membership
The National Membership is ideal for golfers without a local presence. National members cannot own or rent an office or occupy a residence, condominium or other real property for more than 28 days per year within Sarasota, Manatee, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Hardee, Desoto, Charlotte or Polk counties.
International Membership
The International Membership is perfect for those not owning or renting an office or occupying a residence, condominium or other real property for more than 28 days per year within the United States or Canada.
Corporate Membership
Ideal for entertaining high-end clients, the Corporate Membership benefits include the opportunity to appoint up to four designees with reduced membership deposits and the flexibility to change designees on a yearly basis.
